Because technicians like you made Bell Home Solutions #1, we believe in offering the highest compensation package in the industry to entice top residential service and installation technicians to build their career with Bell.  We’re so confident in our pay structure and amazing culture that we’ll pay technicians $200 to just to interview and meet some of our people.  

Who is Bell?  We’re a 92-year old locally owned residential service firm located at 2150 S. Abilene St. in Aurora (just off I-225 & Iliff Ave.).  You can see our 45,000 sq. ft. building on nearly 7 acres from the highway. We currently employ 80+ amazing people that include plumbers, HVAC service technicians and installers, electricians, kitchen & bath remodeling craftsmen, salespeople (outside & inside/retail), warehouse staff, customer care reps and office staff.  We are NOT your typical plumbing and heating company. We believe in performing as many services as possible for our loyal customer base. Our market is 100% residential and we do all work ourselves, utilizing subcontractors as seldomly as possible and therefore keeping our employees busy.

  • Steady work schedule – Bell hasn’t had a technician lay-off in 20 years (since we exited the new construction market and became a 100% residential service/installation firm)!

  • Hiring bonus programs (amounts vary by position and time of year but typically range from $1,000 - $5,000)

  • Referral bonus program – current employees earn $1,000 when referred technicians are hired

  • We carry a 1.3 million dollar inventory – the largest in the state – so you have the material you need on your truck to service our clients

  • Union scale (hourly rate) plus bonuses

    • Unlike our competitors, your income is based on how well you service our customers, not how well you “sell”.  We don’t believe in the commission pay method and the pressure it places on technicians to sell

    • Bonus’ available for exceeding goals in efficiency, closing ratio, memberships sold and overall sales (including add-on sales and cross department referrals).  Ambitious techs can earn in excess of $2,000 per month over their union scale.

  • Union training and benefits

  • 4-week rotation for on-call shift (about 1 week of on-call per month).

    • Techs earn extra amounts for working on-call

    • Only emergency services qualify for on-call (we don’t do routine calls after hours), honoring the value of your home life

    • For your safety, we offer a 10-hour rest period if you’re out late before your next shift starts

  • All tools provided by Bell

  • Fully stocked truck that you take home each night

    • Bell pays for car washes, express tolls and fuel

  • 15 sets of uniforms, and company issued jacket, baseball cap and beanie

  • Membership to 24 Hour Fitness
