Junior Interior Designer (apprentice)

Minimum Job Requirements

• High School Diploma or G.E.D.
• Currently enrolled or just completed an interior design certification program (preferred)
• Pre-employment drug screen and MVR required
• Experience with computer programs (basic Microsoft office suite)
• Proficient with design software (2020, SketchUp, AutoCad)
• Strong data entry skills
• Excellent time management skills and multitasking abilities
• Excellent communication skills to ensure each job goes smoothly
• Professional phone and customer service skills

Primary Job Responsibilities

• Answer the phone and book Design appointments
• Direct Designer support (pull samples, order samples, research prices, review designs, assemble job packets, assist with measurement appointments, enter rough framework and measurements into 2020)
• Organize and coordinate all customer design appointments in the showroom
• Organize design studio sample room
• Organize/schedule project photoshoots
• Coordinate with vendors (new samples, product training, vendor meetings, pricing)

Other Duties and Responsibilities

• Check, coordinate, and curate the company social media posts (Instagram, Facebook, and Pinterest)
• Report directly to the Director of operations
• Any other duties, responsibilities, or tasks deemed necessary by supervisor or management

• Excellent time management skills, with the ability to prioritize, especially with sudden changes.
• Ability to navigate difficult situations and strategize solutions
• Outstanding customer service
